Lessons must learn in life? lessons - life lessons everyone should learn and the most important lessons you've learned from your career and life journey the most important lessons you've learned along your career and life journey.
You’ve done it, you’ve set your business up and it’s ready to fly. The training wheels are finally coming off and you’re trying to find your balance. There’s a lot of stuff that’s been thrown at you that you could not prepare for, and did not know how to amend. This is new to you too. But being the boss comes with upholding a certain image. There are a lot of lessons you learn quickly when running your own business, but it is the way you handle and react to these lessons that will make or break your business.
1. Learn something new
On a practical level, you never know when you’re gonna need a new skill. The most successful people make sure they aren’t outsourced by androids (eek!), by staying on top of the news and knowing things like how to use Snapchat. If you’re thinking about doing something online that could really make a difference, I think your best bet is The Ultimate Blog Plan. You’ll learn some secret, never-before-shared strategies without breaking a sweat.
Remember to keep current with news and event so that if the tides change, you’re prepared!
2. Be healthy
Be honest, are you as healthy as you could possibly be? Is your future self-angry with you right now? Habits are much easier to keep than to break, and you’d be surprised how that can be kept up in the future. Whether it’s eating fruit for breakfast, going for a mid-week run, or doing a Youtube workout in front of your laptop each morning, your future self will thank you for it!
3. Save some money
Think of all the fancy things your future self is buying with the money you’re saving right now. The difference that five or ten years can make on compounded interest can be the difference between retiring when you want to and working forever. Of course, working forever sounds pretty good to some of us too, just make sure you have some money stashed away, especially for your retirement. Plenty of companies offer contribution-matching; look into it now and get saving!
4. Make a bucket list.
Did you ever get to do those things you wanted to? No way to ask your future self right now, so it’s time to make plans. You never know how much time you’ve got on earth – set your goals now, and you’ll have the most time in the world to make them happen. Just make that bucket list and start slowly ticking things off to make sure you’re as happy as you can possibly be in the future!
5. Make more friends
A recent study published at Harvard shows that one thing that’s the biggest contributor to lifelong happiness is strong relationships. Turns out, the more love in your life, the happier you are. Start now by inviting all your friends to come together, spend time with them, take the time to make those calls and send those texts. You won’t regret it.
